GEORGE EASTMAN Gorge Eastman was the first man to make the film camera! George Eastman was born in Waterville New York on July 12, 1854.

George Eastman's building George Eastman owned the Eastman dry plate company in 1881. The building in the picture is the building he worked in.

George Eastman’s camera The picture above is the Kodak film camera that George Eastman made in 1885.

GEORGE AND EDISON George and Thomas Edison were good friends. Edison was interested in George's camera.

George Eastman George Eastman died in 1932. His camera is now very important. After the Kodak camera his invention led up to the modern microscope. After that they made the digital camera.
