Shakespeare’s theatre main features by Giordano Fabiana, Belardo Pasquale

In the Globe Theatre there was a stage and an orchestra There wasn't any artificial illumination but natural light Women were not allowed to play in a comedy or tragedy The shows were displayed from morning till evening Actors did not have microphones and speakers had to scream, and if it rained, they got wet. During the war between France and England, the theatre had become like a stadium with people cheering for the important English characters against the French ones.

The audience was entertained with music before, during and after the play. The original instruments were the lute, the flute, the violin, the viola. Only one problem, there were too many spectators and the Globe was often sold-out.
