Syllabus – Course Overview Three Sections First TCP/IP Network Environment Perl Programming Second Mail System Sendmail and postfix Third DNS and BIND Usenet Network Management

Syllabus – Grade Policy Three Examinations: 20 ~ 25 % each May or May not be open book Exercises 25 ~ 30 % total 4 ~ 5 exercises May or May not have term project If there are term projects, it account for 10% No Delay work Extra 10 ~ 15 %

Syllabus – Prerequisite It is better to have taken SA course Attend every class Read book at least 6 hours every week Collect information on the internet Play with your FreeBSD at least 10 hours every week
