Scholarships/Bursaries There are many different types of Scholarships and Bursaries available for all. The best thing about Scholarships and bursaries is that they are FREE. You do not have to pay them back! Not all scholarships are looking for students with high grades. Many scholarships require that you are in financial need or that you have a particular background (language or belong to a particular club) or skill (sports). Please check them out, as they are a great way to fund for your education. For grade 11’s, it’s never too early to plan out which scholarships are available for you. The list of Scholarships on the Gladstone Career Centre Blog is generally updated near the beginning of the year. Note: You might find that some scholarship deadline dates are not updated as they (the institution or individual) may have decided not to give out scholarships that year. Please visit Gladstone’s Career Centre BLOG under scholarships for list and for any new scholarship postings. Go to Scholarships Canada website: www.scholarshipscanada.com Set up personal Scholarship account so that scholarships are sent to you.
