Appropriations Asks - FY18 Our Asks: $2B increase for NIH $2.8B for FDA Appropriators release the targeted FY18 Innovation fund dollars for NIH ($496) and FDA ($60M) included in the 21st Cures Act We request a $2 billion increase in the annual discretionary funding for the National Institutes of Health in the FY 2018 Labor-Health and Human Services-Education Appropriations Act; $2.8 billion for the Food and Drug Administration in the FY2018 Agriculture Appropriations Act; and, that appropriators release the targeted FY18 Innovation fund dollars for NIH and FDA included in the 21st Cures Act.
