Huntsville City Schools Excelled in Scholarships for 2016 Columbia High Current school total exceeds 2015 by $1,102,862 One student has 15 scholarship offers Athletic scholarships are up by 600% Grissom High (176 seniors have received scholarship offers) Two student received three military academy appointments 12 National Merit Finalists 45% of the senior class has been offered at least one scholarship Huntsville High (193 seniors have received scholarship offers) Exceeded 2015 total by over $4.3 million One student attending USMA 4 National Merit Finalists

Huntsville City Schools Excelled in Scholarships for 2016 Johnson High Current school total exceeds the 2015 total by over $1.7 million Overall increase of 63% in scholarships Athletic scholarships are up by 1024% Lee High Academic scholarship offers are up over $1.4 compared to 2015 One student will attend USMA Prep School and will play football One student has received seven local scholarships New Century Technology High The current school total exceeds the 2015 total by $875,503 One Gates Millennium Scholar 47% of the senior class has earned a scholarship

HCS 2016 Graduates Set a New Record for Scholarship Offers $55,365,711

HCS Student Scholarships Came from a Variety of Sources

On average, students in the Class of 2016 earned $36,593 per student in scholarship dollars. This is the highest average on record!
