Application, Selection and Post-Selection Procedure Requirements for Exchange Program Applications  The applicant must have:  Language proficiency on the language of instruction in the destination country. (some partners require TOEFL or IELTS score or GMAT please check it before you apply..) No balance or responsibilities due to Sabancı University

Application, Selection and Post-Selection Procedure APPLICATION PERIOD: December 12, 2017 – January 05, 2018 DEADLINE: January 05, 2018 until 16:00 APPLICATION STEPS: 1. Online application form: Register through http://exchange.sabanciuniv.edu/ 1. Prepare your application with maximum 3 preferences. (Eligible universities will be shared with you via e-mail) 2. Prepare Financial Commitment Form (ENG / TR) (This document must be signed by you and your guardian) 3. Select your preferences and upload financial commitment form (max. 3 ) 4. Save/Submit your application You can edit and submit your application as much as you like until the deadline 2-Financial Commitment Document: Financial Commitment Document (Turkish version) (Başvuru formuna upload edilecek form) Financial Commitment Document (English version) ***Financial commitment document should be uploaded during the online submission  DEADLINE IS STRICT!!!

Application, Selection and Post-Selection Procedure Please make sure that: You are eligible to apply for exchange Apply in time and UPLOAD Financial Commitment to the online system Carefully review the information regarding partner universities before your application.

Application, Selection and Post-Selection Procedure IRO sends applications to SOM SOM makes placements after the announcement of GPAs IRO announces the results of Faculty Placements of Main Call For main call, IRO gives 4 days for confirmation of participation Confirmation of Participation (COP) Form should be emailed to IRO before given date and time! Students who do not send COPs loose their place!!! DEADLINE WILL BE STRICT! Important: Please check your emails every day!!

Application, Selection and Post-Selection Procedure Confirmation of Participation Form should be delivered to IRO to confirm your place. Then you will be nominated to the partner school by IRO. Partner School Application Procedure should be followed by you Preparing Necessary Application Documents, Acceptance Letter Visa application (Visa procedure might take from 4 days to 1-3 months: Apply in advance!) Learning Agreement should be delivered to IRO by given deadline.( The main process of the Exchange programme: Written contract between 3 parties: You, SU and host university.) LA’s should be prepared with the support of academic advisor in order to guarantee academic recognition and credit/grade transfer of exchange courses. (Your academic advisor : Cenk Kocaş) Travel Health Insurance (Compulsory) *** There will be another information session which will be conducted by IRO after your placement.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN EXCHANGE agreement s & summer schools Tuition fee waiver Applications are submitted through IRO by filling in the online application form. Once you are selected and you confirm your place by delivering related document you will be nominated to partner school by IRO. Before you go on exchange through Learning Agreement you guarantee academic recognition and credit/grade transfer of your exchange courses. SU credits are determined on the LA . Once your exchange transcript is received courses are counted based on your LA. You should pay tuition/course fee Conduct application process with partner school directly.. Apply personally ! The courses that you will take on exchange will be counted as ‘T’ grades in the SU system by your faculty. (Your credits will be counted but your grades will not effect your GPA) Min B grade is required
