Cinderella

Once upon a time… 很久很久以前。。。

Page 1 There is a very happy family: a father, a mother, and a little girl. The father and mother love their daughter very much. Her name is Cinderella.

Page 2 But the mother is very ill. Soon, she dies. Cinderella and her father are very, very sad.

Page 3 Today, the father is marrying another woman. She has two daughters. She only loves her daughters. She doesn’t like Cinderella.

Page 4 But Cinderella’s father is still very sad. He misses Cinderella’s mother. Soon, Cinderella’s father dies.

Page 5 Ten years later. Cinderella is all grown up. She is very kind and helpful.

But Cinderella’s new stepsisters and stepmother are very mean. Page 6 But Cinderella’s new stepsisters and stepmother are very mean.

Page 7 Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters are very lazy. They cannot do housework.

Page 8 Cinderella is sweeping the floor. Cinderella is washing the clothes. Cinderella is cleaning the house.

Page 16 The stepmother and stepsisters go to the party in the evening. Cinderella is not going to the party. She is in her room.

Page 17 A fairy flies into Cinderella’s room. “Why are you crying?” asks the fairy. “Who are you?” asks Cinderella. “I am your fairy godmother.”

Page 18 She makes a beautiful dress and glass shoes for Cinderella. “Now, you can go to the party. But you have to come home at midnight.”

Page 19 Cinderella is the most beautiful girl at the party. Prince Eric asks her to dance.

Page 20 Cinderella and Prince Eric are dancing. They are listening to music. They are laughing.

Page 21 It is midnight. Cinderella has to go home. She is running. But she does not remember to tell Prince Eric her name.

Page 22 Prince Eric finds Cinderella’s shoe. He is looking for the girl who can wear the glass shoe.

Page 23 Cinderella’s stepsisters try on the shoe. One foot is too big. One foot is too small.

Page 24 Now, it is Cinderella’s turn. She takes out the other glass shoe. She is putting on the glass shoes. They fit!

Page 25 Today, Prince Eric is marrying Cinderella. They are going to live happily ever after.
