PAST TENSE IN SPANISH THERE ARE TWO PAST TENSES IN SPANISH: PRETERITE AND IMPERFECT EACH HAS SPECIFIC REASONS WHEN IT MUST BE USED.

Preterite IS A TENSE USED TO DESCRIBE COMPLETED ACTIONS IN THE PAST.

Yo hablo español. Present Tense I am speaking Spanish. I speak Spanish. I do speak Spanish. Yo hablo español.
