HEALTH & WELL-BEING STATEMENT Social Environmental Cultural Physical political Economic Health & Well-being It requires that economic, political, environmental, cultural and social developments all be sustainable. Basic needs are met People have a sense of purpose and that they feel able to achieve important goals, to participate in society and to live the lives they value and have reason to value. It also requires a focus on inter-generational justice to ensure the well-being of future generations is promoted.
Vision statement of LECP ‘a regenerated economically sustainable county which values equality of opportunity, excellent quality of life, collaborative community and rural development, sense of place and where the wellbeing of all residents and future generations is central to everything we do’.
