Project proposal By Ollie Hood

Synopsis I will be doing a documentary conducting interviews on the positives of gaming in the world of today. I will also be looking at gamification during my informative scenes of my project which will then link into looking at secondary research of past information about the positives of gaming and how it has given positive results.

Treatment My introduction will be time lapse footage of outside the game store in Canterbury to show how busy and popular gaming is. The next scene will be a explaining what my project is about by using a voice over which will be placed over game play footage I have recorded. It will then go to a question I have asked my interviewees which will be filmed in Canterbury college TV studio . The scene after this will be showing research I have found out about gamification followed by another interview scene. The layout will continue like this for two more questions then it will be followed by an conclusion which is then followed by an credits screen.

Storyboard

Filming Day 1 Filming Day 2 Day one of filming I will be creating my time lapse introduction of the public walking into GAME in Canterbury high street. Day two of filming I will be conducting my first set of interviews in the College Tv studio

Filming day three Filming day four Day three I will be doing more of my interviews making sure I have got everything I need for my interview sections of my project. Day four I will be recording game footage gameplay of other people playing games in their own house and the actual gameplay footage itself at my house. I will also start recording the voice over for my research clips and gameplay footage.

Day five editing. Day six editing I will be starting to edit my clips by editing my time lapse footage and interview footage. I will then start placing my clips together with my research and voice over clips. I will be editing again and making sure everything is in the right order and the right length then I will start to add any sound effects and visual effects needed.
