The War in Afghanistan, Right or Wrong? Callum Saunders

Proposed Duration Going to air for approximately 28 minutes.

Completion Deadline Will air between September and October.

Genre Current affairs documentary genre.

Target Audience Working class males aged between 16 and 30. Also people who have an interest in current affairs issues and programmes similar to BBC’s Panorama and ITV’s Exposure.

Background Purpose of this programme is to educate the audience. The programme will not be biased.

Research Primary, secondary, qualitative and quantitative research. Questionnaires and focus groups. Laws (copyright, watershed, libel) Scriptwriter’s role.

Synopsis Set in a hall with a panel of four guests and a host. Heated debate. Interview with a wife whose husband died from the war. Interview with a victim of the 7/7 terror attacks. Archive footage

Style Style will be serious and sad at times. It will contain factual and informative information to try and educate the viewer.
