Climate & Region Southeastern part of the United States Originally in present-day Florida Forced to move up to Everglades and eventually to Oklahoma Warm climate

What did you observe about the food, clothing, and shelter of the Hopi Indians? Where did they live? How did that impact the way in which they lived?

Food Gathered nuts, berries, and roots Grew corn, squash, and beans Hunted deer, wild game, and turkey

Clothing Men wore breechcloths made from animal hides or plant materials Women wore dresses made form animal hides or plant materials Moccasins made from leather
