Row 2: Ancient Egypt: How did learning advance in ancient Egypt? By Ryleigh M. Joseph B. Jeslyn M. Kinnari J. Adithi P. Sivani V.

Egyptian hieroglyphs- Sivani Ancient Egyptians wrote in hieroglyphs which used picture symbols to represent. A single picture symbol could stand for a whole word ,called a ideogram, or a sound called a phonogram. They created a hieroglyph system with about 700 characters. Over time the system grew to include more than 6,000 symbols. uSince it was so complicated it took several years. The people who take training for writing is called scribes. The people start at age 6-7.

Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs: Papyrus Papyrus is a plant, (cyperus papyrus) which one grew a lot in the wilds of the egyptian Delta, and also in the Nile river valley, but it is now rare Nebamun is shown hunting birds in a small boat with his wife, Hatshepsut, and their daughter, on the Nile River. Egyptians used many sacred geometric shapes like squares and triangles on temples and obelisks. Why is Geometry Sacred Sacred geometry involves sacred universal patterns. They are used in the design of everything in reality, most often used in sacred architecture and sacred art.
