Mr. Stamp-About was running in the woods angrily, because Mr Mr.Stamp-About was running in the woods angrily, because Mr.Snorty did not pay his bills and now Mr.Stamp-About could not pay his. After a while he realized that he took the wrong path and got lost. Mr.Stamp-About started yelling for help more than once, finally an angry voice answered him back and told him to shut up since he was trying to spell !!!

Mr. Stamp-About followed the angry voice so that he could tell him how rude he is for not helping him. The voice lead him to a small fellow dressed in a shining cloak who was standing in front of a fire and a glass bowl. Mr. Stamp-About asked him what he was doing? The little man said he is a wizard and he was making a spell for GOLD !!

Mr. Stamp-About was very interested in the spell however the wizard told him to leave. But Mr. Stamp-About hid behind a tree so he could see and hear the spell. The wizard had a pile of things which he needed to put into the bowl. He started putting one thing after the other and spelling each item’s name. When he put everything in the bowl he danced three times around the pot and magically gold appeared.

Mr. Stamp-About was very excited he wanted to go try the spell at home Mr. Stamp-About was very excited he wanted to go try the spell at home. He followed the wizard till he found a path he knew. On the way home he met Snorty who noticed how happy Mr. Stamp-About was and asked him why. He replied he was going to be rich. Soon the news spread in town and everyone went to see what Mr. Stamp-About was doing.

Mr. Stamp-About copied all the actions done by the wizard in the woods however he did not get gold but a DICTIONARY !!!!! The town’s people made fun of him and Snorty laughed out loud. He told Mr. Stamp-About that his spelling was so bad that the spell gave him what he needed most A DICTIONARY.

The thing I did not like in this book was that Snorty did not pay his bills. The thing I liked best was that the spell gave him a dictionary it was very funny.
