Event Objectives Reduce pollution in City Waterways and beyond Increase participation while focusing on Volunteer safety and convenience Expand Volunteer experiences, increase sponsorships, and HAVE FUN! Strategic Action Plan Objective 5:1 Enhance community and visitors’ recreational opportunities and experiences at community events

Reduce Pollution 26 miles of saltwater canals & over 2 miles of Intracoastal Waterway Expand Awareness Conducted in conjunction with International Coastal Cleanup Day

Safety , Safety , Safety Safety sheet included in each cleanup kit Event Orientation and early kit pickup Staff patrols cleanup locations during event providing water and direct assistance
