Outline proposal for An International Centre for connected construction Collaboration Achieve a ‘one stop shop’ joined up offer for global digital construction products and services Capitalising on the unique expertise of the region’s digital construction ecosystem spanning business, education and public sector Using the region’s flexible and collaborative ‘test bed’ culture to create an innovative ‘hands on’ digital construction lab, bringing learning to life with digitally enabled cutting edge design and build projects Innovation Leverage the North East’s unique BIM DNA to champion innovation and maximise digital construction’s global market export opportunities for the North East and wider UK Develop an aspirational showcase International Centre for Connected Construction building using cutting edge design and digital construction tools to create a physical home co-locating business and education to spark more world-leading innovation
