1. It’s been accepted as a universal “truth” that men are better at math than women. 2. This suggests that it’s not biology but biases (偏见) that are responsible for the math gender gap. 3. The results showed that men were twice as likely to be hired as women were, even when the employer herself was a woman. 4. This study revealed that the math bias exists in both men and women. 5. “The stronger the gender stereotype (性别成见), the less you are likely to change in favor of women even when you hear about [a woman’s] strong performance on the test,”
