Posters Posters provide a visual stimulation, which makes it easier for a child of 5-11 years, to focus on the information that’s presented on the posters. The bright colours and bold lines make it more fun to look at, which means the children will take in more of the info. Posters can present multiple topics like maths, English and history. They can be put up on walls around classrooms.

Website http://www.bbc.co.uk/education/levels/z3g4d2p http://www.coolmath-games.com/ Online games provide a fun way for kids to learn. Games that are on the internet are easily accessible and are more widely used and known of. This makes them the perfect platform for children to access in order to learn in a fun way. These can be accessed at home and at schools with supervision. This is a good medium as it is easily accessible and interactive.

Game Games like Nintendogs and Nintencats provide a fun way to learn about takin care of animals, as well as teaching them about the different breeds and needs of them. Since technology has developed into school environments it is only useful to create games that can be used on tablets as well as other gadgets. The game creates and interactive way of looking after animals in a way that does not lead to an animal dying through a lack of care. You are taught to feed, clean and train the animals for competitions and general health. This can be used at home as well as because of the interactivity it tends to become more of a game then an education video.

Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TW4OQxUVjiE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPeAo1hz8GA Songs help with learning because they are memorable and fun to listen too. This means the information will stick in their heads and they will be able remember it in the future because of the repetition of the main points. They also tend to come with visual representation as well as lyrics.

Book Books are a great way to educate children as the stories are entertaining and they usually always have a moral at the end. For example, the ugly duckling has the moral ‘Don’t Judge a Book by it’s Cover’ and also not to bully. It also teaches a child about equality within sharing and allowing time for those different to you as they can do the same things you do. Furthermore it also teaches children about puberty in a discreet way that you do change appearance as you grow up. Finally it teaches a child about self-confidence. I think this is a good medium as it is visual with little words that get to the moral of the story quick. Also the book can be read before bed as well as in schools. It is proven children like to be read bed time stories.

Conclusion Younger children would enjoy more of an interactive and visual representation of a learning product and stuff they can usually grip. They also like things that involve their parents like reading books or nursery rhymes. Older children prefer something that involves technology because it means they don’t have to flip through pages of work and instead can play games online or on gadgets made specifically for games or learning from educational videos.
