Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal at Agra, India.
In 1983, this beautiful monument was announced by UNESCO to be one the UNESCO World Heritage Sites
STONEHENGE
This historic and mysterious monument is in Salisbury (England)
"Who built it and why?"
Nobody knows it. About 4,600 years ago, people carried these enormeus stones across southern England to Salisbury.
There, they made a large circular structure. Some of the stones are more than 3 metres tall and weigh at least 25 tons.
Scientists say that the structure was part of a religious complex dedicated to the dead.

The architects built it on soft ground, without enough foundations, and as soon as they were done it began to slowly tilt over sideways
