Balancing Balance is the ability to maintain a stable body position while performing a task. The ability to maintain stable positions during static (still) and dynamic (moving) activities. Static balance is the ability to hold a stationary position with control (e.g. Freezing or standing still games). Dynamic balance is the ability to remain balanced while engaged in movement (e.g. running or bike riding). When an object is balanced, the centre of gravity is on the axis of rotation
