Service/Social Event: 24th Annual Hunger Banquet What: “an interactive event that is meant to raise both awareness for the problems of hunger and homelessness and support to help reduce the disadvantages associated with the inequalities of social classes” Where: Pegasus Ballroom in the Student Union When: Monday, November 13th at 7:00 There will also be a food drive for the Knights Helping Knights pantry- you will receive a half hour for every non-perishable food item you donate, for up to 2 hours (4 items) Attending the event will count as a social, donating items will count toward your service hours

Social Event: Ropes Course Open House What: Open house for the high challenge rope course Where: On campus When: Wednesday, November 15th at 7:00 PM Those who are interested can walk over after the meeting

Service Event: UCF Arboretum Volunteering What: assisting with a myriad of activities at the UCF arboretum Where: UCF arboretum When: Friday, November 17th from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM Meet at the arboretum by 8:30 Wear sunscreen & clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, closed toe shoes, & bring a water bottle *You must RSVP on the LAE Knight Connect & the VUCF Knight Connect*

Service Event: DogFest Orlando What: volunteering with Canine Companions for Independence at their fundraising event Where: Lake Lily When: Saturday, November 18th from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM Event starts at 8:00, meet at Lake Claire at 7:00 to carpool *You must RSVP on the LAE Knight Connect & the VUCF Knight Connect*

Charity Auction Donations If you donated items for charity auction, please email secretary.laedzo@gmail.com with your name & the items you donated so I can record your hours

Partial Proceeds: Spoleto What: Partial proceeds night benefitting our organization Where: Spoleto When: Thursday, November 16th from 4:00-8:00 This event will count towards your fundraising service hours, as well as a social You will receive a half hour for every friend you bring, for up to one hour (or two friends) Be sure to mention LAE when placing your order so we can receive a portion of the proceeds from your purchase!
