Victorian Period Research Project

Answer the following questions What are the dates of the Victorian Age? Year to Year Why is it called the Victorian Age?

Choose one of the following topics to research Crime and punishment – murder Dating and courtship customs and rituals Marriage and divorce rules, laws and rights Insane asylums – who was sent there, why and what treatments were given Remember to only research Victorian England!

Research project slide show Title slide with the group’s names and topic Slide 2 – the 2 Victorian Age questions and answers Slides 3 – 6 will have bulleted information about the chosen topic and appropriate images. Student groups will create a 5 question multiple choice and/or true/false quiz the class must take on the information provided in the group’s presentation. This will be slides 7 – 11. Student groups will turn in a hard copy of the quiz with their names on it.
