What is Bullying?

The behavior is repeated, over time. Unwanted, aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, over time. Verbal, Social, & Physical

What is Suicide?

Taking your own life. “A permanent decision to a temporary issue”

What is Depression?

Feelings of intense sadness -- including feeling helpless, hopeless, and worthless When this lasts for many days to weeks and keep you from functioning normally, your depression may be something more than sadness. It may be clinical depression -- a treatable medical condition. = CHEMICAL IMBALANCE IN BRAIN

Some Hormones Serotonin- this hormone is what makes you feel significant or important- low levels can cause depression Dopamine- the “feel good” hormone- low levels can cause depression Adrenaline- the “stress hormone” –occurs as part of the body’s “fight or flight” response to stress. EXAMPLE- when someone is in a dangerous, frightening, highly competitive situation, high energy, excitement
