Worktime! – This is challenging on purpose…show me how awesome you are! You are going to create a mini-poster that demonstrates the process of cooking on a propane grill. You will use your text book pages 206 – 209 and the computers to assist you with this project. Sorry…but I will only be observing…not helping.  You will need to include the following – A well drawn picture that includes the BBQ grill and its fuel source. (15 pts) A balanced chemical equation for the reactants and the products. (10 pts) Pictures of the different types of molecules involved. (15 pts) The types of reactions that are happening and why. (15 pts) An explanation of why bonds are being broken and formed. Also included in pictures. (15 pts) Explain why the reaction is endothermic or exothermic and show a small graph that demonstrates this phenomenon. The description should be located near your graph. (15 pts) An explanation across the bottom of your project that explains how this reaction illustrates the law of conservation of matter and the law of conservation of energy. (15 pts) Total points available = 100 pts
