Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 

Evil desires are at war in us Everyone has a sinful nature

Wrong motives = unanswered prayer

It will leads us to a dangerous position to be in It sets us up as an enemy of God

What happened to transform this group of people from people who followed Jesus, to a group of people James is calling adulterous enemies of God?
