INSTRUCTIONS We’ve scaled the world down from 7.5 billion to 100 people. At each number, you represent 2 people or 2% of the population. Based on the colors on your card, we will be asking you to stand up. If there are no colors, please remain seated.

QUESTION #1 Blue dot = stand You represent the 50 females in the world Please sit down Orange dot = stand You represent the 50 males in the world

QUESTION #2 Purple dot = stand You represent the 75 adults in the world Please sit down Green dot = stand You represent the 25 children in the world

QUESTION #3 Yellow dot = stand You represent the 86 people that can read and write in the world Please sit down Red dot = stand You represent the 14 that cannot That is a 2 percent improvement since 2004

QUESTION #4 Orange dot = stand You represent the 78 people who will sleep in some sort of shelter tonight Please sit down Pink dot = stand You represent the 22 who will not

QUESTION #5 Orange dot = stand You represent the 11 people that are undernourished Please sit down Blue dot = stand You represent the 1 that is dying of starvation

QUESTION #6 Green dot = stand You represent the 91 people who have access to safe drinking water Please sit down Purple dot = stand You represent the 9 who do not Even within the 91 % the definition of “safe” varies from country to country

QUESTION #7 Please sit down if you only have a Red dot Red dot = stand You represent the 15 people living with a moderate to severe disability Please sit down if you only have a Red dot Red & Pink dot = stay standing 5 of those are children living with a disability Please sit down if you only have a Red & Pink dot Red & Pink & Blue dot = stay standing 2 of those children with disabilities also live in a low income country Please sit down

The numbers are disproportionate.
