Psychology and Globalization With Susan Wilkes

Susan Wilkes Has a Psychology undergraduate degree Masters’ in Counseling Psychology PhD from VCU Currently is a Organizational Psychologist working in Richmond

Wilkes has founded her own organization called Wilkes Consulting She provides helpful advice to people looking for leadership and team building experience Also gives advice to people that want to learn how to interact with different people

Her Work She works around the community and interacts with the diverse groups in Richmond Because she provides leadership seminaries, she has to learn how to communicate with different people from different backgrounds Using her psychology background, Wilkes has a “cultural understanding”

Impact of Cultural Migration Because there are so many more diverse people migrating to Richmond, many companies have to hire psychologist like Susan Wilkes to provide them information and cultural awareness She organizes non-profit learning for Latinos and Africans in Richmond
