Agenda/Topics To Be Covered The students will describe both the myth and the reality of the American cowboy by categorizing myths and truths. Warm-up Question: Review the painting on page 223 and answer the following: 1. What does the title of the painting refer to? 2. Using the painting, write a list of 5 words that describe the setting in which a cowboy lived.
