How/when she was born Aphrodite was born in a very unusual way, she was born from sea foam. She was born from the white foam produced by the several genitials of Uranus (heaven), after his son Cronus threw them into the sea. Her birth month was April. Are any of your birthdays in April? Did you know? Aphros means foam in Greek which is why she was called Aphrodite.

FAMILY Do you know how many children Aphrodite had? Aphrodite had 3 children: Phobus, Deimus and Harmonia. Her parents were called Zeus and Dion. Her siblings including stepsiblings were, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Dionysus, Minos, Hebe, Hermes, Heracles, Helen Of Troy, Hephaestus, Persues and Muses.

Powers Aphrodite was able to affect emotions and feelings, and she had power over men. She was known as the goddess of love and is said to be a woman of great beauty.
