WSIPC History Founded in 1967 by Snohomish County school districts to share costs for software development, hardware, and centralized technology support ESDs assumed responsibility for ownership of WSIPC through a series of inter local agreements in 1985 Seven of the nine ESDs began to provide regional support by hiring fiscal/student coordinators as well as house computing and printing equipment for the region WSIPC (Everett) continued to develop software and provide support to regions coordinators Red font = revised data needed

WSIPC History In 2001, the cooperative purchased fiscal/human resources/student software from Skyward (Wisconsin), WSIPC continued to support the Washington feature set, (reports specific to Washington) Contract still exists today fifteen years later Today, the cooperative serves 287 school districts and 33 private schools in Washington, more than 1,500 schools and over 730,000 FTE In 2011, Equipment at ESDs was consolidated in Everett Red font = revised data needed

WSIPC Cost WSIPC negotiates, collects revenues, and pays for the Skyward contract. The 2016-17 WSIPC fee to school districts is $18.14 WSIPC fees also cover its staffing costs WSIPC staff support the Regional Service Center (RSC) staff and provide tier two level support Fees at Regional Service Centers vary based on a regions desires. Most range in the $15-25 per FTE and are additive to the WSIPC fee WSIPC budget is $22 million, RSC budgets are $20 million Red font = revised data needed
