Career Objective: My long term goal is to have my own art/design studio. Future Plan: My short term goal consists of me graduating and then I would like to be interning for artist and knitwear designer, Amabelle Aguiluz. Five years from now, I would like like to be working as a fashion design assistant. Aside from apparel design, I also want to work in shoe design. Personal Profile: Having been exposed to fashion design at a very early age is what has had the most influence in my career decision. I started learning the art of sewing at age twelve with the help of my mother. In the last two years I have worked for Moore’s Sewing Center, Joann’s Fabric and Craft store, and as lab technician at CSULA(Art Department). I like to refer to my garments as being a mirror image of my life experience, my emotions, and the future.
