Story Synopsis Main character lives in a house and has never seen the outside world. One day he decides to explore his house while doing so he finds hidden rooms and other secrets. He is able to discover that the place that he has been living is actually a facility in which they harvest organs from clones just like him. Being worried that the same fate awaits him, he tries to escape the facility.

Usability test We had couple of our friends and family members try out the game. they told us what they thought about our game. We wanted to test how enjoyable our game is and if its easy enough to play without a constant reminder of the controls. The feedback that we received showed that the people who played the game mostly found that it was easy to use after being told the controls. However before that it was unobvious what to do. We could add a help screen in the future to improve this. More improvements could be made such as adding a reticule.

Liam (Project Manager) Created the raycast player scripting that allows the player to interact with all of the objects found in the game. Created the doors and their opening/closing scripts. Level layout and design. Created 3D models for use within the game, such as the desk, the lights and the axe.

Vlad 3d Models and texturing for the living room (couch, chairs, tables, tv stand, shelf..)  Basic Animation  3d Misc Models

Nikola Made kitchen and other models bookshelf puzzle fading in and out of scenes script worked on looping ending and start game scene

Patryk 3d Models and texturing for the bedroom (bed, chair, table, tv stand) 3d model and texture for the vault door Animation for the vault door

Konstantinos Created 3D Models and Texture for the Bathroom Created 3D Models, Textures and Animations for the Kitchen Created 3D Models, Textures and Animations for the Hidden Lab

Project evaluation

What went good The teamwork and the management of tasks in our group was well organised. We had a weekly meeting to assess progress and assign new tasks for each member each week.

What went bad Communication with a few members of the group was lacking due to mainly using the office 365 email client. Due to issues with Unity we are unable to build the game currently. Compatibility with the version of Unity we were working on. The game is currently in an unfinished stage, with more work this could be finished.

Change in plans during development We changed many elements of the game during development. Even the story was changed multiple times. We also eventually had to cut the scale of our game too to make way for the time constraints.

Future work on the project We currently have very few sounds effects in the game due to work being put mainly on level design and interaction. The story needs to be made more obvious so that the player actually knows what is going on. This was going to be done through notes and dialogue with another character. Our scene also needs more ‘clutter’ props adding.
