Where King Khufu was buried The ancient Egyptians built the great pyramids of Giza so then they could have a place to bury King Khufu This is a diagram of the pyramid where King Khufu was buried

How they built the pyramids They used about 2.3 million blocks of sandstone weighing almost 2.5 tones and some even 15 tones. To build the pyramids they had to use a ramp so they could get the blocks to a higher level.

How long did it take to build It took about 30 years to build the pyramid but the whole complex took almost 75-80 years
