Leonardo Da Vinci By: Diego Castañón 5-4-15

The last supper The Last Supper was created by Leonardo Da Vinci around 1498 and is one of his most well known religious paintings. It is based around the Last Supper of Jesus and has greatly deteriorated over time.

Mona Lisa The Mona Lisa is another well known painting by Leonardo Da Vinci and is thought to have been made around 1505. It is believed to be a portrait of Francisco del Giocondo’s wife.

The Virgin and child with St. Anne The Virgin and Child with St. Anne was made by Leonardo Da Vinci around 1510. It was created with oil paint.

Virgin of the rocks This painting was produced around 1483-1486. He created the artwork with oil paint.

An angel in red with a lute Created around 1499 by Leonardo Da Vinci the artwork is a portrait of what appears to be an angel indicated by its wings that carries a lute. The painting is not as well known as some of Leonardo’s other artworks but well done nonetheless.

Reflection The artwork of Leonardo Da Vinci is very interesting as it displays ideas that include religion and are well drawn. His various different paintings all reflect how accomplished and skilled he is. There are reasons why many consider him to be one of the greatest artists of all time.
