JOE SELBY CLUB MANAGER/PERSONAL TRAINER Fitness Related Qualifications National Diploma in Sport Performance FA Level 2 Coaching Badge Personal Training Nutrition & Weight Management Child Obesity Sports Nutrition Exercise To Music Boxercise Circuit Spinning About Me All my life I have been playing all kinds of sport, football being the main one. Before I started work here I was an apprentice footballer at Luton Town FC where I lived, trained and played full time for 2 years. This experience showed me how much hard work and commitment is needed to achieve your goals, so when you are worried about sweating when you are on the treadmill, just remember they used to train us until we threw up! Sadly my career at Luton ended and I decided to gain a qualification in Personal Training and haven’t looked back since. After starting out here as a Fitness Instructor I worked my way up to Club Manager. I still enjoy to personal train as it remains the reason I got into this industry, but as Club Manager my priority is to make this gym the best it can be, I’m always happy to hear your comments (good or bad) to ensure I am doing the best I can for our members, so please don’t be shy! Personal Thought On Fitness “A minute is only a minute, it is what you do with it that counts”
