2014 Michigan Merit Exam MME and ACT ACT Exam WorkKeys Michigan Math, Science, and Social Studies

American College Test (ACT) www.actstudent.org Consists of four sections – English, Math, Reading and Science and an optional Writing section A score of 22 is considered an average score for college admissions ACT scores are used to determine State of Michigan Scholarships (must be taken by December of senior year).

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) www.collegeboard.com Critical Reading, Math and Writing sections Scores can range from 200-800 per section Mean/average score is 500 on each section A combined score of 1500 (out of 2400) is considered average for college Add zero to end of scores on PSAT to compare with future potential SAT scores This test is preferred by the highly selective and eastern schools Be sure to also register for the SAT II’s per the requirements of the universities you are interested in.

Senior Schedules Schedule should be challenging but balanced—not too easy and not too difficult! Elective courses related to career pathway
