What is the T-E-A-C-H Holistic Approach?

What is the T-E-A-C-H Holistic Approach? All drop-out, out-of-school and laggard children are in schools, which are happy and safe learning environments- Happy Schools, Students of those schools are exposed to the best learning aids in the form of high-class E-learning modules which improve student learning outcomes and reduce drop-outs, Non-literate adults could be non-literate parents and relatives of the children going to the schools of our intervention

CONTINUED.. Teachers of the same schools are enabled through training to improve learning outcomes of their students, and non-literate adults in the area, are empowered through literacy. How Can the T-E-A-C-H Holistic Approach be implemented?

How Can the T-E-A-C-H Holistic Approach be implemented? Decide on the villages/wards for the implementation. Identify the schools in these villages/wards using the Comprehensive School Survey Form No. R 1.1. Pick schools which have need in all “T”, “E” and “H” If Asha Kiran projects in the area, may select schools in which mainstreaming is to happen

Identify the no. of out of school children and non-literate adults Start Asha Kiran Centres for all children and Swabhimaan (Adult Literacy) Centres for all non-literate adults in the area Determine funding requirement and arrange - Global grants from TRF/Club funds/HNI/RILM Grant Upload Project Reports on www.rotaryteach.org Against point 4- RILM can support you in finding NGOs that can undertake the AshaKiran and Swabhimaan Project in the area.
