Course Selection Explore your interests … what career are you interested in? (Business? Art? Graphic Design? Medical field? Education? Skilled Trades?) Foreign language? If college-bound, consider taking 2 years minimum of the same foreign language. Level Changes? Are you happy with the academic level you are at? Are you challenged in your courses? Would you like to move up or down? Begin to have conversations now with your teacher if considering a level change.

Why Come to the College & Career Center? Not sure of what career you would like to do? Stop in to do a career assessment! Not sure where to begin college search process? Attend career, scholarship, college workshops Learn how to search for scholarships even now! Talk about summer programs, becoming a college athlete Curious about college costs and how to afford college? After seminars are complete, the CCC is typically open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during 3A, 4B, 5A or 6B. Make sure to check your texts for the daily schedule!
What should I be doing as a freshman to prepare for life after high school? Do the BEST you can in all classes and tests each semester Visit the Resource Rooms NOW if you need extra help Challenge yourself by taking as rigorous of classes appropriate for you Check your WTHS email weekly, listen to the announcements or check the Student Bulletin to be informed of campus opportunities GET INVOLVED! Clubs, sports, activities and volunteer opportunities can boost your resume for colleges and scholarships. Find your passion and dive in!
