Introduction I'm going to present you the french swimmers : Coralie Balmy, Alain Bernard , Laure Manaudou, Yannick Agnel , Camille Lacourt , Florent Manaudou , Amaury Levaux , Camille Mufat , Frédérick Bousquet, Hugues Dubosq and I'm also going to present the swimming pool in Chartres because it is near Rémalard.

The french swimming team This is the french team.

Coralie Balmy She was born on 8th june 1987 . Her club is called « Dauphin du Toec ».('dauphin' means 'dolphin') In 2007 , she won a bronze medal on 200m freestyle . In 2008 , she won the European Championsip ( 4x200m freestyle relay .) She broke the world record for the 200 m freestyle in the french national championships . In 2009 ,she became the best swimmer at the European short course championships of the 400 m freestyle, and she won a silver medal for the 200m freestyle . In 2012, she won the European long course champion's for the 400 m freestyle and at the summer Olympic Games, she won a bronze medal in 4x200 m freestyle relay .

Alain Bernard He was born on 1st may 1985 . His club is « CN Antibes » . He broke the world record of the 100 m freestyle and won gold medal to 50 m freestyle at the European long course championships 2008 in Eindhoven.  At the summer Olympic Games 2008 in Pekin , he won a silver medal for 4x100 m freestyle relay and he won a gold medal to 100m freestyle . In 2012 , he won a gold medal to 4x100m freestyle .

Laure Manaudou She was born on 9th october . Her club is « CN Marseille » She became the Olympic , European and World champion for the 400 m freestyle in 2004. At the World Championships in 2007 in Melbourne , she won 2 gold medals for 200m and 400 m freesyle ,2 silver medals to 800 m freestyle and 100 m backtroke and a bronze medal to 4x200 m freestyle .

Yannick Agnel He was born on 9th june 1992 . His club is « Olympic Nice natation » . At the summer olympic games 2012 in London , he was the fastest swimmer for the 4x100m , and 200 m freestyle. He won a silver medal at 4x200 m freestyle relay. In the European short course championships in 2012 in Chartres , he won 2 gold medals to 200 m and 400 m freestyle and wona bronze medal at 100 m freestyle .

Camille Lacourt He was born on 22nd April 1985 . His club is the « CN Marseille ». He became the World Champion in 2011 for 100 m backstroke , he won a silver medal for 50 m backstroke . He won 3 gold medals to the European long course championships 2010 in Budapest to 50 m , 100 m backstroke and 4x100 m medlay relay.

Florent Manaudou Florent Manaudou was born on 12th October 1990 . His club is « CN Marseille » . He won a gold medal in the summer Olympic Games 2012 in London . At the European short course championships 2012 in Chartres , he became the fastest swimmer for the 50 m ,4x50 m ,freestyle men and mixed and 4x50 m medley relay .

Amaury Levaux Amaury was born on 2nd December 1985 . His club is « Mulhouse ON ». At the summer olympic 2008 in Pékin, he won 2 silver medals to 4x100m and 50 m freestyle . At the European short couse Championships 2008 in Rijeka , he won 4 gold medals to 50 m,4x50 m and 100m freestyle, and 50 m butterfly . At the summer Olympic Games 2012 in London , he won a gold medal for the 4x100m freestyle and silver medal for the 4x200 m freestyle .

Camille Mufat She was born on 28th october 1989 . Her club is « Olympic Nice Natation » . At the summer olympic games 2012 in London , she won 1 gold medal for the 400 m freestyle , silver madal for the 200 m freestyle and bronze medal fir the 4x200m freestyle . At the European short course championships in Chartres , she broke the world record to 400m freestyle and gold medal to 200m and 4x50 m freestyle mixed . At the french championships 2012 on Angers ,she broke the world record to 800m freestyle .

Frédérick Bousquet He was born on 8th april 1981. His club is « CN Marseille » . At the European long course championships 2012 in Debrecen , he won 2 gold medals for the 50m and 4x100m freestyle and silver medal for the 50m butterfly. To the European short course 2012 in Chartres , he won 3 gold medals to 4x50 freestyle men and mixed , and 4x50m medlay relay men , silver for the 50 m butterfly .

Hugues Dubosq He was born on 29th August 1981 . His club is « CNHavrais » . He won 2 medals to the summer olympic games 2008 in Pekin for the 100m and 200 m backstroke . He won a gold medal for the 200 m backstroke and broke the world record to the European short course 2008 in Rijeka .

The swimming pool to Chartres The European short course 2012 was organised in Chartres (France). The french swimming team got more medals than the other teams.
