Frontiers in Bioscience Journal and Research Institute in Aging and Cancer

FRONTIERS IN BIOSCIENCE Frontiers in Bioscience (FBS) is a 501(c) Nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering science, education and research. FBS was initially launched in 1996 as the first electronic medical journal and because of this it was indexed from the outset by the National Library of Medicine [https://www.bioscience.org/impact]and received the 501 (c)(3) status from Internal Revenue Service in 1998. FBS is now recognized as a platinum organization as one of the top 0.5% of Non-profit organizations among 1.5 million Non-profit corporations that are assessed and indexed [https://www.guidestar.org/profile?id=59-3432665] by GuideStar. GuideStar is one of the first central sources of information on U.S. Non-profits and is the world's largest source of information about Non-profit organizations.  Thus, National Library of Medicine started to index the contents of FBS from outset in 1996 and this was quickly followed by inclusion of its content in other indexing services including Current Contents (Thomoson Reuters), Chemical Abstracts, BIOSIS, etc. Thus, FBS started to provide a platform where exchange of scientific information can take place freely among investigators, scientists, and physicians for improving access to high quality peer reviewed reviews in biology and medicine. Frontiers in Bioscience journals publish manuscripts, books, lectures, databases and other useful information. Journals & Research Institute in Aging and Cancer

FRONTIERS IN BIOSCIENCE General Information  Frontiers in Bioscience Journal provides a platform where exchange of scientific information can take place freely among investigators, scientists, physicians and patients. Frontiers in Bioscience journals publish manuscripts, books, lectures, databases and other useful information. Publishing data in scientific journals is the accepted means for dissemination of information in science. Publications are important to investigators since they reflect the extent of  their scholarly activities and are needed for their promotion and are required for obtaining grants. They are also the sole accepted method for dissemination of information important to other investigators and the public. Therefore, "Frontiers in Bioscience"  considers all publications as important communications. Attempts will be made to post the manuscript online in a minimum time possible after it has been accepted for publication. Journals & Research Institute in Aging and Cancer

FRONTIERS IN BIOSCIENCE Journals Mission Statement FBS strives to assist science industries deliver the mission of their business to thousands of scientists and decision-makers around the globe. FBS journals integrate the art of science publication with a diverse array of information, tools and techniques. Editorial Profile FBS journal offers a unique blend of Landmark, Scholarly, and Elite articles, enhanced reports on latest scientific findings, events and other cutting-edge topics affecting the success of today’s science professionals. FBS provides novel ideas, business solutions, science trends, medical uses, management tips and emerging technologies. Aim and Scope The journal "Frontiers in Bioscience" is a modern forum for scientific communication. Data and information that are useful to investigators in any discipline in biology and medicine including biochemistry, microbiology, parasitology, virology, immunology, biotechnology, and bioinformatics will be published after they have been peer reviewed. This will include reviews and research articles in basic science and clinical science, as well as technical notes and protocols. Other materials that have not been traditionally published as peer reviewed articles will also be considered for publication. This will include, rare images ,videos and sounds, and assimilated data in the form of a database on any subject in medicine and biology. The journal will include useful search strategies of internet and databases related to biology and medicine, links to medically relevant journals and the guidelines to authors of scientific journals and as well as information regarding manufacturers' products and links to manufacturers' homepages. Other items that will be posted are book reviews, as well as a list of conferences. Journals & Research Institute in Aging and Cancer

FRONTIERS IN BIOSCIENCE Research Institute in Aging and Cancer Frontiers in Bioscience launched the Frontiers in Bioscience Research Institute in Aging and Cancer in 2011 with the mission geared towards helping humanity on a grand scale as we learn as why cancer cells are immortal and use this knowledge to treat cancer and to overcome aging. Treatment of cancer has been traditionally founded on the basis of killing cancer cells with chemotherapy or radiotherapy. However, such treatment strategies are often very disabling to the patient and they also reduce the immunity and sometimes cause death of the patient by infection. Moreover, over a long term, the cancer can recur and such recurrent disease commonly leads to death. Scientists at the institute examine innovative non-radiotherapeutic and non-chemotherapeutic approach for treatment of all solid human tumors. New ideas that can reverse the age induced damage to DNA and cell organelles are also be pursued. The institute is funded through tax deductible donations, fund raising events, and educational programs. Galleries at Laguna Beach participate in fund raising through providing artworks that are gifted to philanthropic donors. A brief overview of the Centre’ s research agenda is available online at http://www.bioscience.org/ri Journals & Research Institute in Aging and Cancer

FRONTIERS IN BIOSCIENCE Research Institute in Aging and Cancer Educational Programs and Lecture Series The Frontiers in Bioscience Research Institute offers a series of educational programs throughout the year. These programs are delivered by experts in all fields of medicine including cancer, aging, diabetes, and many other topics. Although at the institute, we work on stem cell biology and cancer treatment, we welcome any conference in biology and medicine and welcome organizations to host conferences at the institute and publish the announcement regarding the conference, abstracts and articles of the attendees and their lectures (PowerPoint and/or movies) of the conference in the Frontiers in Bioscience Journals (http://www.bioscience.org).
