Body cavities 1- Ventral cavities: A- Thoracic cavity : 1- mediastinum :- heart ,trachea ,esophagus ,and thymus gland located in mediastinum cavity. 2- Pleural cavities :- right lung located in right pleural cavity , left lung in left pleural cavity. B- Abdominal pelvic cavity : 1- Abdominal cavity: contains stomach, intestine, liver, gall bladder, pancreas and spleen. 2- Pelvic cavity: contains reproductive organs, urinary bladder, and lowest part of intestine. 2- Dorsal cavities : A- cranial cavity :- contain brain.
