Aims You will be more aware of what we assess your children on how we assess them how we feedback progress towards individual expectations and national expectations

Formal/ Statutory Assessments Year 1- Children get assessed on their phonics knowledge (external assessments) Year 2- Writing, reading, maths and science (teacher assessment) Year 6- SPAG, reading, writing, maths, science (teacher assessment)

Other Assessments Each year, we ‘assess’ the children at different milestones in addition to everyday monitoring.
