Born: 3rd March 1847, Edinburgh Education: University Collage, London Alexander Graham Bell was a Scottish-born scientist, inventor, engineer, and innovator who is credited with patenting the first practical telephone and founding the American Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1885. Inventions he created: telephone, photo-phone, hydrofoil, audio-metre, metal detectors etc. Died: 2 August 1922, Beinn Bhreagh
