Background Information Cell phones use radiation to connect to cell phone towers. These radiation waves are really dangerous for you and can affect your brain. Phoning with someone over the phone can be very dangerous because the radioactivity starts frying your brain if you use your phone for a very long time and sleep with your phone near your head, this can cause the loosing of brain cells and rises the stakes of getting brain cancer.

About calling with phones A microwave cooks or warms up the food that is inside of it. Similar waves come out of a mobile phone. Imagine your head being inside the microwave, well it is the same when you are talking on the phone. The energy is coming from the phone and frying everything that is inside your head and that is your brain. The radiation waves travel through your ear to your head and brain and fries your brain. The same with wireless house phones.

When radiation is the highest when calling The way that the radiation level isn’t that high when you are calling is when you are calling someone far away. After a lab experiment on a website called iLab we investigated and discovered that the farther away the person in the other line is the less radiation the call contains.

Results This negative linear graph clearly shows us that the radiation gets higher the closer the distance and that after 50mm of distance to the Geiger counter the radiation increased rapidly. Showing that the farther away the receiver of the call the safer it is for your brain.

How to use Cellphones, the safe way. The safest and best way to use a cellphone is by texting and talking in speaker mode, in texting you don’t use as much radioactivity, although and the phone is not close to your brain which doesn’t cause the damage of loosing brain cells and frying your brain, that can give someone brain tumors which can lead to brain cancer.
