7 Habits Short Stories You will show your understanding of the text in creative writing. This activity has some individual silent time as well as transition time – be sure to follow directions Prompts will be given verbally and displayed here – do not move ahead until told to do so

Step 1 On your piece of paper, write “Once upon a time…” and begin a short story. You will have 5 minutes to introduce a character and a problem

Step 2 Pass your paper to the right Read what has been written so far You will have a few minutes to continue the story by having the character respond to the problem REACTIVELY

Step 3 Pass your paper to the right Read what has been written so far Continue the story by introducing another character who is SELF-AWARE

Step 4 Pass your paper to the right Read what has been written so far Continue the story that includes both characters having a discussion and using their IMAGINATION to deal with the problem
