My Authors Birthplace: San Antonio, Texas

Childhood Rick Riordan attended Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio. The first book Riordan remembers reading for fun was The Lord of the Rings . He has also liked Greek and Norse mythology since he was around the middle school age. Both parents were teachers and they're side jobs were musician, artist, and ceramist so overall Rick grew up in a very artistic family.
