The official flag of South-Carolina

Location South Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state is bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the south and west by across the Savannah River, and to the east by Georgia the Atlantic Ocean.

History of South Carolina At first the Spaniards who entered in 1521 and 1562 French Huguenot tried colonize the coast of the islands. Attempts have been unsuccessful, the country still has a long period of time the Indians possession of the English crown. The announced the same demands in this area, in fact, in principle, the court gave a faithful servant of the possession, but the settlers was anticipated for a long time. Only in 1670, the first immigrants arrived.

History of South Carolina When the colonies began to rebel, in a part of the aristocracy he joined them, hoping to be freed from the burdens of colonial status, but do not get their place new burdens on the federal government. South Carolina joined the Union among the founders of one of the first, and took part in fighting in the War of Independence. The Revolutionary War shook the institution of slavery. Columbia Columbia is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of South Carolina, with a population of 133,803 as of 2015.

Rock Hill It is a smaller industrial city, but textile factories are significant. The city is a "peach-Zone" is a center. Textiles and peach are the two main products.

Spartanburg Not far from town is the famous Revolutionary War One battlefields, which is now also a memorial park; Kings Mountain National Military Park.
