Viewing History View your history from the homepage or from the My UpToDate page. Easily scroll through the content you’ve accessed and with one click, retrieve previously viewed content.

Quickly access what you view most often When a clinician views a piece of content more than once, it can be quickly accessed for later viewing. Topics viewed most frequently are placed higher on the list.

Bookmarking content Content you’ve bookmarked can be accessed from the UpToDate homepage.

Sync content across all your devices Desktop The features sync automatically to all your UpToDate devices. For example, if you bookmark a topic on your desktop, it will appear on your UpToDate smartphone app Improved continuum of care Smartphone Tablet The sync feature helps with continuity of care, and can be especially useful when a clinician provides care in different settings. For example, suppose a physician sees a patient in the office and bookmarks a topic on her laptop that is relevant to the patient’s medical condition. Later that evening, the physician’s office notifies her that the patient called with a follow-up question. The physician is away from the laptop she used in the office, but pulls out her smartphone and turns to the UpToDate mobile app. The bookmarked topic is ready to be accessed. There’s no need to spend time hunting for the necessary clinical information.
