Textbook survey

Does my textbook …show lists of target vocabulary each unit? 11 yes 2 no 1. …show lists of target vocabulary each unit? no 2. … provide a reasonable number of items relative to the level? 10 yes 2 no 3. …include enough ‘chunks’ in these lists?   4 yes, 11 no 4. …distinguish between useful, frequent items and less useful, infrequent ones?  10 yes, but probably not enough 5. …provide activities that deliberately teach new vocabulary?  sometimes 6. …provide plenty of activities reviewing / encouraging retrieval of vocabulary previously taught? No 7. …provide activities that systematically review vocabulary taught earlier in the year?

A reasonable number of items relative to the level? Need to add items, and add to our list May be from texts, may be from other sources
